| Garden House is situated in the County Durham
countryside between the A1(M) and Bishop Auckland, and between
Darlington to the South and Durham to the North. Directions: From North, South & East - from the A1(M): From the junction of A167 and A689 (Eden Arms Hotel) head towards Bishop Auckland on A689 for 1.2 miles. A triangular road sign indicates a road joining from the left, take this left turn, follow lane up bank, take second turn on left. Garden House is the last cottage on right. Turn right for parking. From the West: Leave Bishop Auckland by the A688 towards Durham. At the roundabout join A689 (sign-posted Hartlepool). At the next roundabout continue on the A689 for approx. half a mile. A triangular road sign indicates a road joining from the right, take this right turn, then follow lane up bank, take second turn on left. Garden House is the last cottage on right. Turn right for parking. |
